The PTA Needs Your Support
Your time and financial contributions are essential to helping the PTA carry out its mission of supporting and enhancing our children’s overall school experience. When you and your family join and participate in the PTA, we are able to:
- Provide volunteers for many school-based events.
- Offer programs that benefit all HES students, such as community events, field trips, mock congressional hearings, a talent show, and more.
- Award grants to each grade-level team to enhance their academic instructional programs.
- Host appreciation events throughout the year for our teachers and school administrators.
Stay Connected with the PTA
The PTA holds general meetings every other month. Meeting dates are shared in the monthly PTA newsletter and on the PTA calendar. These meetings are a great way to stay informed, hear updates on PTA initiatives, and connect with other parents and school staff. All PTA members are encouraged to attend and participate.
Who can join?
Any significant adult in your child(ren)’s life can join the PTA — including parents, grandparents, guardians, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and caretakers. The goal of the HES PTA is for every family to be represented by at least one parent or guardian as a member.
