PTA Board Elections
The Nominations Committee is searching for volunteers to fill upcoming vacancies on the HES PTA. As a PTA board member, you’re able to support our school and students, as well as stay in close touch with our administration.
Per our bylaws, we need to announce candidates the week of April 23, 2023.
The positions with vacancies next year are PTA President, Secretary, and Membership VP. We are pleased to announce we have a nominee for President (Melissa Zawadzki) but we are still in need of individuals for the Secretary and Membership VP positions.
The SECRETARY
- Takes meeting minutes and prepares them for posting on the PTA website
- Attends general and executive board meetings (totaling 1 meeting a month)
- This position has a 2-year term. The time commitment is 2 hours or less per month + monthly meeting.
The MEMBERSHIP VP
- Maintains our current membership list using Memberhub software
- Helps coordinate a membership drive in the fall and promotes membership throughout the school year
- Attends general and executive board meetings (totaling 1 meeting a month)
- This position has a 2-year term. The time commitment is about 2 hours per month + monthly meeting.
