The Hammond Elementary theme this year is “HES is out of this world,” so let’s show our teachers and staff that we think they are the best in the universe! The PTA Staff Appreciation committee is organizing several events throughout the year that are sure to be a “blast” and we need your help to ensure they have “lift off”!
For the 2022-23 school year, the committee helped to welcome staff back with a breakfast in August, will provide a meal for both parent/teacher conference days, and support activities throughout Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
We are also organizing “Monthly Missions” to help show our appreciation throughout the year. Each month will have an event or theme and we will request donations from HES families to support. For the month of October, we are planning a “Treat, No Trick Trolley” for October 27 where we will load a cart full of treats and deliver to the staff. If you’d like to contribute, there are two ways to do so:
- Make a purchase from the Amazon Wish List (Please have items delivered to “Robyn Bell Dickson’s Gift Registry Address” and received by October 21)
- Make a monetary donation here (Please be sure to write “Teacher Appreciation” in the comments)
