This event will kick-off with a school wide Pep Rally on May 10, 2016. For the next 7 days, all students will have a grade level character lesson during the first 10-15 minutes of their recess time entitled Big World Recess in which they will learn about young people from all over the world doing activities that keep them fit and being leaders in their communities. The program will culminate on May 19, 2016 with the actual Fun Run itself in which all HES students will run 35 laps, for which they have been sponsored by family, friends, business contacts, ect. Each lap has a different theme to keep the students motivated during the run. Spring Fun Run Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
