The Hammond Elementary PTA sponsors many of the programs that your child(ren) and family will benefit from throughout the school year. We are able to provide all this through a number of fundraising activities. We encourage everyone to participate in as many as you can to support our PTA.
Throughout the school year the PTA will schedule restaurant nights in which HES will receive between 10% and 50% of the sales for a specific night to anyone eating in or dining out that identify themselves as supporting our school.
The Annual Fall Festival is a community/family event held every fall to welcome everyone back and kick off the school year in a super fun way!

For the 2015-2016 school year, all proceeds from the No Bake Bake Sale will be used to fund grade level grants that each instructional team will be able to use to support and enhance their instructional program. This enhancement will be done through such things as in-house fields trips or presentations related to the educational content being studied.
HES PTA invites students to shop for their family members at the Holiday Shop. Inexpensive items are available for purchase during recess and afterschool for a few days in December.
The PTA puts on a fun family event every winter to get us all out of the house and enjoying a fun activity during the long winter months. In the past Basket Bingo has been held and this year a Sweetheart Dance is being considered. Whatever the event it will be sure to help your family beat those winter blues!!
The whole community joins in the fun as we walk, run or crawl the course. Participants get t-shirts and prizes are raffled off randomly to finishers.
